I recently saw a comment somewhere, wandering through the blogosphere that said that Sarah really didn't drink powdered milk and they had fresh veggies sent up in the middle of winter. Wow, people really don't get it.
I move up here as a very small child. When I moved here, a lot of what Sarah said in her book, Going Rogue ran true. The veggies and fruit most times were absolutely disgusting. Lettuce that was either brown and wilted or starting to have that beautiful slimey look but you bought it anyway and took off the bad layers. Apples were generally small and usually brown on the inside due to the bumps they took to ship up here and oranges were hard and most of the time had been frozen. I had relatives that would send us tangerines and oranges, so we would have some fresh fruit. Most of the time we had canned veggies of some sort. The meat wasn't so bad. But the milk could be and the reason many people to this day still have powdered milk. The reason was due to the time that it took to ship up here. If it was a bad shipping week, the milk would be spoiled and the Matanuska Milk on our dairy farms was fresher but at times was to expensive to buy. It didn't really change until after the recession here in Alaska. Where the oil boom... bottomed out in the mid eighties. We then began to grow wildly, have box stores that were needed for the economy as well as the jobs.
Living in Alaska is hard. It is MUCH better now then it was when I moved up here, or Sarah when she was a child. But even if you can't understand the mind frame of how people lived up here, at least don't flick it off as though it didn't happen. To this day I do not drink milk, I do and will not eat ice burg lettuce and can not stand the taste of canned peas.

Something to think about, about the book and heroes
Tuesday, November 17, 2009
Today, I went to the bookstore here in Anchorage to buy my copy of Sarah's new book.
After paying for it and walking out to go to the numerous doctors appointments that are not letting up, I looked over to where I bought my book and noticed someone.
A man, who was obviously there for Sarah's book and asking the lady where more of the books were as there were none up front, could have been Trig Palin as an adult. He had walked from where ever he lived, group home or apartment in the absolute freezing weather (we have a nasty cold spell going on with a nasty wind chill advisory) just to buy the book. Talk about making me smile as he was very polite, even if the lady he was asking for help was not as polite to him.
Sarah is still a hero to those with disabilities. And I thought I would share my very small moment with you all.

Pundits will try to make yesterday's election result in NY-23 about Sarah Palin and the conservative ideals. It is about neither. Who would have ever thought a mid-term election would have garnered such media attention?
There were 3 races highlighted by all the media, yet there were elections all around the country totally ignored by every mainstream reporter. Of the 3 closely followed, two were won by Republicans. Virginia voters had finally had enough, and said so with their vote. New Jersey voters seemed to respond to the interference of the WH (not once, not twice...) and chose a new path to follow.
The race that grabbed the attention of everyone was NY-23. The dirty dealings before, during and after the campaign and election need to be imprinted on the minds of every voter in every state.
The special election came about after Obama picked then-sitting GOP congressman John McHugh as Army Secretary. This left an opening for the slot to be filled by a Democrat.
For whatever reason, Dede Scozzafava was picked by the GOP as their candidate. Ignoring all the warning signs that this was a Dem in elephant's clothing, Scozzafava was funded and endorsed by so-called leaders of the GOP. After dropping from the race, Scozzafava began actively supporting the Democrat candidate, Bill Owens.
When Doug Hoffman was overlooked (and dismissed) by the NY GOP group, he entered the race as an Independent running with all of his conservative values and principles in plain view. He was ultimately endorsed by the likes of Jeri and Fred Thompson, Dick Armey, Sarah Palin, Steve Forbes and others. He lost by a mere 4,000 votes.
What now? Jeanette Pryor has posted that Scozzafava has received the WH reward by being named as Special Advisor on Reproductive Rights: "Ms. Scozzafava’s special recognition by Pro-Abortion organizations and her talent as a politcal hermaphrodite make her a natural here in Washington,” noted the President. “We are thrilled to have the kind of Bi-Partisanship that results when Republicans are willing to put principles behind them and move forward.”
Now, how does the leader of our country know....... Actually, the piece is satire, but with this administration, very believable.
Owens, the Dem who won the election, will have only a very short time to make his case for re-election in 2010.
What is in the future for Doug Hoffman? Read his statement for yourself: America has changed
New Jersey and Virginia are the beginning. Will the 2010 elections continue the trend?

Sarah was right on Missile Defense Part 6: Iran and Alaska Missile Shield.
Friday, October 30, 2009
When Obama stands there with his feeble limp wristed style to swoon the stupid liberals into believing all is good and no harm will come to them. It makes one wonder about the safety for the country as well as when Obama is actually going to do anything concerning the Troops in Afghanistan.
Iran has put out there to the world that they will not go by the rules, regulations and sanctions that were instituted to make it “safe” for what they are doing with the yellow cake uranium. They are doing it their way no matter who says what. There is no cooperation with this country and it seems that it was shown via Cheney and others in the Joint Chiefs of Staff that it was never going to happen. And Obama sits there looking like a complete failure concerning being bullied by Iran.
Now with this said, here is a new shocker. I mentioned that Alaska has a missile shield for the United States that would protect the West Coast and in some cases could protest the East Coast as Alaska is high on the hemisphere and could react if something does turn around. Well in the news recently, there is a new item on the table to complete the missile defense fund at Ft. Greely BUT on condition of:
So we can have all the missiles that were slated for us under the Bush administration concerning overall protection, BUT, we have to dismantle Missile Field 1, to get the missiles for Missile Field 2 at Ft. Greely. Does anyone else think this sound right? Especially since the Missile Field 1 was ONLY made in 2003/2004. Umm can we say waste of Government funds.
Sarah Palin, you were right. It is unfortunate that it has to come to this.

Well in the news recently, there is a new item on the table to complete the missile defense fund at Ft. Greely BUT on condition of:
Sen. Mark Begich, a Democrat, appealed to the Senate Armed ServicesCommittee in June to maintain money to expand the ground-based missile defense system, saying it's not just about North Korea but also about shooting down missiles launched by Iran. In a news release Tuesday, Begich said the plan is "a welcome decision that will decrease the risk of the ever-evolving ballistic missile threats from rogue nations by increasing capacity required to defend the United States."
Sen. Lisa Murkowski, a Republican, was less enthusiastic about the decision in an e-mailed statement to the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner, noting that the completion of Missile Field 2 comes with plans to decommission another missile field at the base, about 100 miles south of Fairbanks. "I remain unconvinced that abandonment of the Bush administration's plan, previously supported by Secretary Gates, is the right thing to do from a national security perspective," Murkowski said.
So we can have all the missiles that were slated for us under the Bush administration concerning overall protection, BUT, we have to dismantle Missile Field 1, to get the missiles for Missile Field 2 at Ft. We normally don't post concerning Levi Johnston... but I think since Sarah stated this, that is is approriate to post:
Per MSNBC:
I couldn't agree with Sarah more.

Per MSNBC:
We have purposefully ignored the mean spirited, malicious and untrue attacks on our family. We, like many, are appalled at the inflammatory statements being made or implied. Trig is our 'blessed little angel' who knows it and is lovingly called that every day of his life. Even the thought that anyone would refer to Trig by any disparaging name is sickening and sad. CBS should be ashamed for continually providing a forum to propagate lies. Consider the source of the most recent attention-getting lies - those who would sell their body for money reflect a desperate need for attention and are likely to say and do anything for even more attention."

Palin is Uniting an Ideal.
Tuesday, October 27, 2009
In the coming months we have an obligation for those around us to learn, understand and vote for the “right” person(s). Standing for something doesn’t mean we can’t branch out and help others who stand with us. Sarah Palin is doing just that with those who are conservative and taking doing exactly as she said she would. Do you agree with her is my question too you?
You like a person who is campaigning.
They say what they stand for.
What they believe.
What they think is right and wrong.
Where they would like our path to lead.
What the future may hold if in office.
How it could be a good change.
This is the standard of why people like the person running.
But what if their convictions don’t totally match yours? Do you take them off your table? Do you vote for the other guy? Or do you just stay home? Here is where the problem lies. The person in the list, what if that person was a democrat or a libertarian or an independent? What would you do in that situation?
Someone mentioned that Sarah Palin may be changing “sides” or in other words parties. I would think it is more Sarah is choosing the best candidate for the position. Just like anyone applying for a job, you choose the best. And right at this moment, you see a bunch of people who get it, a bunch of people who won’t budge even if they are voting in their party who seems to play on the opposite field. And the last bunch of people, who want “change” and “hope” yet haven’t figured out that we haven’t had any ‘hope or change’ as our economy is tanking and the jobs are fewer and fewer.
Sarah Palin isn’t changing anything, she is uniting an ideal. Now, do you want to be united on this ideal…. Or sit on the couch?

Oprah, Healthcare and Sarah
Wednesday, October 21, 2009
Right now I am sick as a dog and I am letting those who follow I will not be around for about a week.
I have family medical things going on and like many, I am more worried about them than anything else. I doubt anyone in my shoes wouldn't feel the same.
I have to deal with the possibility of cancer. Now if we were under "ObamaCare" this wouldn't have happened as fast as it would havee and may have taken weeks and weeks to get a diagnosis. What if it turns positive? What then? I thank God that we do not have ObamaCare or the other freaking losing nationalized healthcare right now. Or it may not be good for my family.
As for Oprah's show: bad Idea. But who am I, as I am not the one advising Sarah? The only thing I can reason about it is, the fact that Sarah is trying to reach out to the women voters via Oprah, no matter how nasty Oprah may be to her. Yes, there will be Sarah Palin supporters on Oprah's show.... but that doesn't mean that the people in the background won't be rude, tactless or anything else.
But this is just my opinion. As for now I have other things to deal with. Prayers would be great... I hate asking for help.

Examiner tries to equate Palin and Putin think the same. **FACEPALM**

If you think I am kidding, read the Examiner article:
But hey... if Luke wants to believe Putin and Sarah are one and the same, maybe he should go live in Mother Russia. I will help chip in for his permanent ticket over there. Anyone else want to help?
Both agree that natural resources mean economic development, though there is a wealth of evidence to the contrary that suggests that resource extraction yields poor development outcomes.Well Luke Johnson, who wrote this, is about as bright as the gamma ray that emits from a shale rock fragment and is obviously still in College and has a lot to learn. Interesting since he IS supposedly a Russian Foreign Policy major. Luke, I know this was before your time, but you may want to look into when I spoke of Russia taking over the oil companies in Russia. I won't link it .... Luke can find it himself.
Putin: Mineral and raw materials represent the most important potential for the economic development for the country.
Palin: Building an energy-independent America will mean a real economic stimulus.
But hey... if Luke wants to believe Putin and Sarah are one and the same, maybe he should go live in Mother Russia. I will help chip in for his permanent ticket over there. Anyone else want to help?

But anyways. The Wall Street Journal's Washington Wire has a tidbit about it:
“There will be an announcement about it coming up,” Palin associate Tim Crawford said Wednesday.FYI, If you haven't bought the book "Going Rogue" you probably won't know what is going on. HEHE Liberals.... you gotta buy the book!
The New York Post reported this week that Palin’s new group will be called “Stand Up For Our Nation.” (News Corp. owns both the Post and The Wall Street Journal as well as HarperCollins Publishers, publisher of Palin’s book.) Crawford, who is treasurer of Palin’s existing political-action committee, SarahPAC, refused to provide any details about the new organization’s purpose or structure.

Sarah was right part 5: Russians allow pre-emptive nukes.
I spoke about Russia a few days ago concerning Iran and why Russia doesn’t seem to care and noted that something was amiss.
I was right. Russia said no to sanctions and now is ALLOWING pre-emptive nuclear to start in Iran. No regulations, no sanctions, nothing. What is Russia getting out of this deal I wonder?
Breitbart has some information:
As does Reuters:
This stinks, worse then a dead elephant in the room. And what is worse is the fact that Obama is letting Russians visit our nuclear sites. WHY???? Via Foxnews.com:
Now what is START. Well there are two different type START 1 and START II. They are speaking about START II. But from the State.gov site here is what they have as the head:
Isn’t that interesting and now all of a sudden it seems that Russia wants to look into this. Putin has been around for a while, so why the “sudden interest”? Well I think it has to do with that Russian and Iran alliance, that was done in 2005. Yet no one really talked about it in the U.S. even now.
Is Sarah right about Missile Defense here at home. Yes she was. But is anyone listening? That is what I am concerned about.
I was right. Russia said no to sanctions and now is ALLOWING pre-emptive nuclear to start in Iran. No regulations, no sanctions, nothing. What is Russia getting out of this deal I wonder?
Breitbart has some information:
The interview appeared in the daily Izvestia during a visit by U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, as U.S. and Russian negotiators try to hammer out a nuclear arms reduction treaty by December. It also came amid grumbling in Moscow over U.S. moves to modify plans for a missile shield near Russia's borders rather than ditch the idea outright.
Patrushev said a sweeping document on military policy including a passage on preventative nuclear force will be handed to President Dmitry Medvedev by the end of the year, according to Izvestia.
Officials are examining "a variety of possibilities for using nuclear force, depending on the situation and the intentions of the possible opponent," Patrushev was quoted as saying. "In situations critical to national security, options including a preventative nuclear strike on the aggressor are not excluded."
As does Reuters:
"There is no need to frighten the Iranians," Putin told reporters in Beijing.
"We need to look for a compromise. If a compromise is not found, and the discussions end in a fiasco, then we will see," he said, adding that talks of sanctions was "premature" at present.
This stinks, worse then a dead elephant in the room. And what is worse is the fact that Obama is letting Russians visit our nuclear sites. WHY???? Via Foxnews.com:
Russia and the United States have tentatively agreed to a weapons inspection program that would allow Russians to visit nuclear sites in America to count missiles and warheads.
The plan, which Fox News has learned was agreed to in principle during negotiations, would constitute the most intrusive weapons inspection program the U.S. has ever accepted.
Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who met with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, said publicly Tuesday that the two nations have made "considerable" progress toward reaching agreement on a new strategic arms treaty.
The 1991 Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty, or START, expires in December and negotiators have been racing to reach agreement on a successor.
Now what is START. Well there are two different type START 1 and START II. They are speaking about START II. But from the State.gov site here is what they have as the head:
THE TREATY BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND THE UNION OF SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLICS ON THE REDUCTION AND LIMITATION OF STRATEGIC OFFENSIVE ARMS AND ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTS
Isn’t that interesting and now all of a sudden it seems that Russia wants to look into this. Putin has been around for a while, so why the “sudden interest”? Well I think it has to do with that Russian and Iran alliance, that was done in 2005. Yet no one really talked about it in the U.S. even now.

Sarah was right on missile defense part 4: Why Russia isn't afraid.
Tuesday, October 13, 2009
Russia has an interesting relationship with almost all Nations around the world. Russia has never been one to back down without a fight, but something has been amiss with Russia lately.
The Jerusalem Post wrote this interesting article concerning Russia and Iran, with two interesting reasons why Russia is not afraid:
I think there is more to it than just what the Jerusalem Post has stated. Russia is a country that uses other countries to gain what they consider power, or a stepping stone to power. They also like to see what other countries will do and take steps to see their reaction. Such as flying into American and Canadian airspace. And this isn't just about America and Canada either. Russia is checking their boundaries and how countries react, including Pakistan. Russia is playing with fire and is smiling from ear to ear concerning it.
So sanctions on a nation that is wild isn't going to help the issue at hand with nuclear arsenals. It will just make it more detrimental on other nations trying to keep the peace. Hillary Clinton is also on the front of it, but there is something missing in which I can't place my finger on. But stating that Clinton never asked for Russia's help seems odd to me as another article stated that Clinton tell Russia no. Something is amiss.
And yet here we sit, lacking what was to be a missile defense, waiting on the results. And of course Russia just changed their tune as they do not want sanctions on Iran. I wonder why? Hmmmmmm.
The Jerusalem Post wrote this interesting article concerning Russia and Iran, with two interesting reasons why Russia is not afraid:
First, Iran is primarily a threat to Israel, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. This will increase regional tensions and strengthen Russia's position there. Good relations with Iran could position Russia as a mediator between these countries and the Islamic republic. For example, the recent cancellation of the deal to sell Iran anti-aircraft complexes was used to leverage Russia-Israel relations.
Second, Russia can use its relations with Iran as a bargaining chip in opposing the United States. The latest events demonstrate how, by changing its position toward sanctions, Russia achieved its goal: canceling the AMD program, despite its having been approved by the previous US administration.

Looky what we have here:
If people's opinions are changing, just due to a FaceBook entry by what they thought was a quitter yet did get quite a bit done for her state.... how do they feel about what is going on with someone who isn't doing anything? I can see a shifting, and it isn't looking to good for a certain corner.
She might be onto something here, politically and economically. A recent Rasmussen poll, for instance, found that 88 percent of Americans say the dollar should remain the dominant global currency. Now, the average voter may not fully understand the subtleties of international finance nor appreciate exactly how a dominant dollar has benefited the U.S. economy. But they sure think a weaker dollar is a sign of a weaker America.(...)
But Krugman too easily dismisses the idea that the dollar’s decline could tumble out of control. Former Clinton economic officials such as Robert Rubin and Roger Altman have been making the case that investor concern about budget deficits could lead them to abandon the dollar. As Altman argued in a Financial Times op-ed piece today: “The dismal deficit outlook poses a huge longer-term threat.(...)
Now many Democrats and liberals, like Krugman, don’t want to hear such talk, fearing a rerun of the Clinton era when the progressive policy agenda was sacrificed on the altar of budgetary rectitude.Interesting! Don'tcha think? It makes me wonder who else is opening their eyes concerning the state of the American Dollar, the problems with Debt and the fact that many who only watch MSM only only hearing bits and peices of the missile issues and nuclear problems around the world in which even our Military is asking for help and the Liberals are looking around with doubt in their eyes due to what is going on in the White House.
If people's opinions are changing, just due to a FaceBook entry by what they thought was a quitter yet did get quite a bit done for her state.... how do they feel about what is going on with someone who isn't doing anything? I can see a shifting, and it isn't looking to good for a certain corner.
Remember my Sarah was right part 1 and 2? Pakistan is being downgraded as a nuclear problem.
But I mentioned something about Pakistan. What was the deal with them?
Well on Drudge report, I spied something concerning Hillary Clinton and how she is downplaying Pakistan's nuclear arsenal. This, in my mind, is not a good idea.
Clinton said extremists were "increasingly threatening the authority of the state, but we see no evidence that they are going to take over the state. We have confidence in the Pakistani government and military's control over nuclear weapons."And of course this from FT.com
Miliband told reporters at a joint news conference with Clinton that although Pakistan faced a "mortal threat" from extremists, there was no danger of its nuclear weapons being compromised.
Attackers in army uniforms struck at the headquarters in Rawalpindi on Saturday.
The strike was the third major assault in a week – after bombs in Islamabad and Peshawar – in an apparent campaign to deter a planned army offensive against Taliban strongholds in the country’s Waziristan region along the Afghan border.
Now, what is worrisome is the fact that I purposely put Pakistan in the last Palin was right blogs on missile defense, as a question mark. Why? Because we really do not know what may come about. They are hated by India, in which Pakistan use to belong to them and India has nuclear abilities as well. Kashmere, which was part of both Pakistan and India, does not involve themselves at all concerning India and Pakistan's squabble of power between themselves.
Pakistan is in the middle. Lack and weak government, small military power that is half infiltrated with men who just want to go to Paradise and the fact that the Pakistan government will not state much on the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. Pakistan, from what I am told, is only a few steps away from totally being over run by the Taliban. And our news media from around the world seems to be downplaying this.
Keep an eye on Pakistan.

McCain admits Palin may be quite a force in 2012
Sunday, October 11, 2009
Per CNN:
There is also a video associated with it, if you would like to watch it. But it is clear, the "aides" to McCain hated Palin and you could tell McCain knew it but did nothing to stop it. Infighting can be problematic... but we have to wait for the book to see more.
“With a high-pressure situation, there's always tensions that develop within campaigns,” McCain says in a wide-ranging interview that airs Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union. ”And there were clearly tensions between Steve Schmidt and people in the Palin camp.”
Still, McCain said, Palin was an asset to his presidential campaign.
“There are fundamental facts … that cannot be denied,” McCain adds. “When we selected or asked Sarah Palin to be my running mate, it energized our party. We were ahead in the polls, until the stock market crashed. And she still is a formidable force in the Republican Party.”
“I have great affection for her,” McCain continues. But “did we always agree on everything in the past? Will we in the future? No.”

after seeing this youtube clip, I am still not impressed. He was not sincere to anyone, including his wife Regina. And it was obvious he wasn't sincere about Sarah either. This penis wrinkle really needs to just get off the TV and go away.

Who is calling who white trash, Letterman?
Monday, October 5, 2009
Per Psychology Today:
ZING! Tell me how you REALLY feel Doc! Actually it would probably be worth the read as this article was. But Doc. Peele is right, who is Letterman to talk when he doesn't have his personal life in order. As in his mariage, his child, the news on him screwing his staff (yuck) and of course he fact that someone was trying to blackmail him.
Letterman needs to go. CBS needs to let him go. Maybe it is time for them to part ways.
Who's accusing who of being white trash? Letterman joked that Sarah Palin, then Alaska's governor, had the style of a "slutty flight attendant" and commented that, while attending a Yankees game, "during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez."
Why does a man in his late fifties have a baby out of wedlock when he is living with the mother? Most parents figure their child will appreciate their being married - that it avoids needless embarrassment from the kid's schoolmates down the road.

Colleen O'Connor said Palin is a New American Mythology
Thursday, October 1, 2009
Collen O'Connor is a pretty savy person herself, even if San Diego is a pretty conservative city in California, for writing this Pro-Palin article.
But what I liked best about it was this part:

If Colleen ever decides to come up to Alaska, I would like to buy that woman a coffee! Read the whole article, it is very refreshing.

New American Mythology
Palin is an historian’s dream, not just because of her mega-star quality, or her supernova rise from Alaska to everywhere, but because she embodies something left over from the 19th century Frederick Jackson Turner “frontier thesis” that so dictated America’s history and mythology.
According to Turner, it was the frontier that made America competitive, innovative, and free of the shackles that bound old Europe. The frontier was our liberating destiny.
Oddly enough, the 21st century’s fabled frontiersman is a woman!
Whether she is a throwback to former British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher; the twin to the recently elected Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel; or a comedic replay of right-wing housewife, Phyllis Schaffly, (who so enraged feminists in the 1970s); no one, as yet, can say.
That is she a force is undisputable. To what end is debatable.
If Colleen ever decides to come up to Alaska, I would like to buy that woman a coffee! Read the whole article, it is very refreshing.
The New York Post doesn't understand Speaking Engagements it seems.
Wednesday, September 30, 2009
When you know you are in a losing streak, you take out your opponent via the knees right?
Well the New York Post, a liberal rag of mindless entertainment, decided to write a “I Hate Palin because I don’t think she can sell herself and I think she is dumb” article again. I think that the New York Post and their writers are scared that they are losing money… and have to print this drivel to get some money in.
What cracks me up is how the NY Post is just frothing at the mouth concerning the speaking circuit and the amount of one hundred thousand (100,000) per speaking engagement, which if you think about it really isn’t that much.
Per NY Post:
Now, seeing this, we all understand that speaking engagements are going to “cost”. But if you book a building, with around 1500 seats would be about 67.00 a piece. BUT since you have to have money to rent the building which could be 25,000 for a day, which would cost in the amount of 17.00, I don’t see how this would be a problem? People pull out 100 dollars for just about anything anymore. So charging 100 to 150 dollars per speaking engagement, per person really isn’t that bad.
Also, let us talk about Speaking Engagements that include a nice dinner. Everyone knows you buy the plate before hand for whatever speaking engagement it is. So let’s say you want to hear Sarah at one of these. It is all priced out via the building it would be in, the price of employees, food and set up as well as the strip down and the speakers cost as well as the commission. Well we have all seen these types of dinners where you can pay up and including ten thousand (10,000) dollars per plate! So a room for 500 people. You have 100,000 for speaker, 50,000 for food and service, 15,000 to rent facility. So round it up to 200,000 thousand for cost of all and the cost of the plate for the Dinner Speaking Engagement is a whopping 500.00 dollars per person!
Whoa. I think the New York Post should have thought this through before they typed their smear article out.

Palin's bookers are said to be asking for $100,000 per speech, but an industry expert tells Page Six: "The big lecture buyers in the US are paralyzed with fear about booking her, basically because they think she is a blithering idiot."

Science Czar want to take ALL Babies away from unwed Mothers?
Tuesday, September 29, 2009
Per WorldNetDaily.com
Obama science czar John Holdren stated in a college textbook that "illegitimate children" born to unwed mothers could be taken by the government and put up for adoption if the mother refused to have an abortion.
Holdren, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, argued that "illegitimate childbearing could be strongly discouraged" as a socioeconomic measure imposed to control population growth.
(...)
On page 786, the authors wrote that one way to discourage illegitimate childbearing "might be to insist that all illegitimate babies be put up for adoption – especially those born to minors who generally are not capable of caring properly for a child alone."Maybe it is me, as I am ONE of those who was pregnant early in life and decided to give up my child for adoption as I didn't believe IN abortion and wanted better for my child that I could not give it at that time! But it was MY CHOICE! MY CHOICE to have a child and give it to a family. It is also the CHOICE of a teenager, no matter what age to figure out if they should keep THEIR child.
Alternatively, the authors suggested unwed mothers might place their babies up for adoption, writing: "If a single mother really wished to keep her baby, she might be obliged to go through adoption proceedings and demonstrate her ability to support and care for it."
This infuriates me to no end. How would Sarah Palin deal with something like this if Bristol's child was taken from her OR if Bristol had to re-adopt her OWN CHILD!
What if it were a Divorcee with children?
What if it was a Window with children?
What if the Spouse left the Marriage and children?
Notice I didn't use woman... as men are responsible if something happens and will have to take care of the child(ren). What then, taking away the children if something like the list I just wrote down from the top of my head? Do they take ALL children if the parent is single?
How about we get this Science Czar OUT! This man is a caustic boil on the butt of society. He needs to stop worrying about climate change and population control.
In other words..... LEAVE ME, MY BODY AND MY FAMILY ALONE!
Boycott John Holdren..... Do it now!
