Edwina and I want to wish all of you a very happy Thanksgiving Day. This is a day for spending with family and friends, so we hope you have plans today for lots of fun, food and fellowship.
You know, the Bible says that we are to give thanks in all things. Sometimes when we look at the state of the world today and the things that are happening in America, we wonder how we can find something to give thanks for.
As Edwina would say, “All ya gotta do is look ta that young whippersnapper and she gives ya plenty of reason ta be thankful.”
That’s true. Miss Sarah can find things in her everyday life to thank God for even with all the stuff she does for her own family, for her country and for those of us who appreciate her.
Don’t let her down. Find out all the things you are thankful for and write them down if you have to but be sure to thank God for each and every one of them.
And just this friendly reminder – the turkey is stuffed… not you at the dinner table!
From all of us in Clarendon, Arkansas…
HAPPY THANKSGIVING !
